Space Heroes

Space Heroes is an exhilarating musical journey through the cosmos, celebrating iconic heroes of science fiction and space exploration. Taking place in the Discovery Center’s planetarium theater, this dynamic performance will feature some of the most recognizable themes from beloved films and television series, taking the audience on an unforgettable adventure through space and time. From the soaring melodies of Star Trek and Star Wars to the triumphant fanfares of Superman and Apollo, Space Heroes will showcase stunning imagery and epic soundtracks that have captured our imaginations for generations.
Musical selections are thoughtfully paired with stunning visuals that enhance the experience. The program will be performed by the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, Principal Winds Quintet, who will bring these powerful themes to life with precision and passion.

We are thrilled to have the PSO Principal Winds back at the Discovery Center this spring!
PSO Principal Winds is comprised of Aubrie Dionne, flute; Sarah Krebs, oboe; John Ferraro, clarinet; Orlando Pandolfi, horn; and Melissa Grady, bassoon.
The concert will be precluded by a performance by the combined Manchester Community Music School and Concord Community Music School flute choirs.
